….. Out the front of the Hotel is very large boulder which has been carefully placed in a small pond. There is the sound and sight of running water from a small fountain rising up from a hole drilled down through the boulder. Water runs over the surface of the boulder.
…… The carpark of the hotel. Distant buildings show a chalet – style of building seeing the town thrives on skiing in winter time …..
…. Tubs of flowers outside the hotel are beautiful but pose a conundrum. On one hand you see delicate beautiful plants in full flower but you look up simultaneously and see snow on the big mountains around Grindelwald. Flowering plants and intense cold are not compatible.
…. There was a downstairs restaurant where you come and have meal …. hence all the tables and chairs (I photographed these photos early in the morning before people were up and around) …..
