Geraldine is a pretty country town with an artistic streak. Shop for arts and crafts, refresh at a friendly café and take a stroll around the historic trail.

Geraldine is a pretty country town set among exotic trees alongside the meandering Waihi River.  It is a town with a strong artistic streak which is reflected in the variety of boutique shops offering unique art, crafts and giftware.  Refresh at a friendly café and take a stroll on the historic trail around the compact and pleasant town’s centre.

The friendly village of Geraldine is in the heart of a prosperous farming area but is also well known for its population of artists and crafts people.  With several famous New Zealand artists hailing from the district, studios and galleries can be found to interest all artistic tastes.
